Help shape the future of Community Safety at UBC

UBC Community Safety wants to hear from you.

We are launching the 2026 Community Safety Survey as part of Safety Awareness Week. The survey will remain open until Sunday, November 15, 2026, giving members of the UBC community – including students, staff, faculty, and visitors – an opportunity to share their experiences, perspectives, and priorities for community safety.

Whether you have used Community Safety services before or simply have thoughts about safety and support on campus, your feedback matters. The survey will help us better understand awareness of our services, experiences with Community Safety, and how we can continue to build a safer, more supportive, and welcoming campus.

Throughout the survey period, you may see opportunities to participate through Safety Awareness Week activities, campus events, student groups, faculties and departments, newsletters, digital signage, social media, and Community Safety outreach.

The survey takes approximately 5-7 minutes to complete.
